"Art Deco Weekend 2013" in Napier: 14 to 17 february 2013. Tango Shows

The “Art Deco Weekend” takes place every third weekend of February and hosts around 200 events (music, dancing, and performances, as well as picnics, concerts, and more) around Napier and other locations across Hawke’s Bay.

Events during the Rugby "Hertz Sevens" in Wellington: 1 and 2 February 2013

On Friday 1 and Saturday 2 of February 2013 the “Hertz Sevens” Rugby tournament took place in Wellington, which included the participation of the selected team of the UAR (Argentina Rugby Union) for the Sevens, representing Argentina.

On behalf of the Embassy of Argentina in New Zealand we would like to welcome our National Team for the rugby Sevens to New Zealand!

The team arrived on Friday 28 of January 2013, to take part in the tournament of the “Hertz Sevens”, which will take place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 of February 2013 in Wellington.

We wish them all the best for the tournament and a great stay in New Zealand!!

      On Saturday 8 December the “Tango Show” was held as part of the “Latin-American Dance Fiesta”, featuring music and dance performances at the Birkenhead Library in Auckland.

Last Friday, 2 November 2012, the concert “Tribute to Carlos Guastavino” by renowned Argentine guitarist Mrs. Maria Isabel Siewers and a string quartet was held at St. Andrew’s Church on the Terrace,30 The Terrace, Wellington.

The “XI New Zealand Tango Festival” took place in Wellington from the 19th until the 26th of June 2012.
